FSA FOOD BANK
The Frost Student Association operates an on-campus Food Bank to assist full-time Frost students who find themselves without enough to eat.
Students can access the food bank once every 4 weeks for a maximum of 3 visits per semester.
The FSA is a member of the Kawartha Lakes Food Source (KLFS) food network. Food is provided by donation to KLFS and then distributed amongst members in the network including the FSA Food Bank. This monthly distribution combined with contributions from Fleming College and allows the FSA to assist students facing food insecurity.
Students who would like to access the Food Bank must complete an Intake Form and meet the policy requirements. Information collected on this form is kept in the strictest of privacy. This process also ensures that food is distributed fairly to those in need and that the system is not being abused.
